At last, the new version of Joomla is out of beta, and released as a stable package. Congratulations, Internet!

Snipplr, a site devoted to saving and sharing snippets of code, has gone through a redesign. I’ve used Snipplr in the past, and a redesign was much needed, but now the site’s fonts are big. A little too big if you ask me…

Packt publishing released a new book written by Ric Shreves on Drupal 5 theming.

NPR, America’s main public radio station, gave a nod last week to Joomla and Drupal as two of the top gadgets of 2007. This spells amazing good news for both tools in 2008 because they’re now both mature for a wide and not necessarily technically-gifted audience. (via OpenSourceCommunity)
